Building Power for What Comes Next: Lessons from Grassroots Child Care Organizing Across the States

RCCF 2025 Impact Webinar Graphic

This event was held on July 7, 2026 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm EDT

Join the Raising Child Care Fund (RCCF) for a conversation with grassroots leaders from across the country who are organizing, building power, and advancing child care and social justice in their communities in challenging times.

Drawing from RCCF’s upcoming Impact Report this webinar will explore how grassroots organizations build trust and relationships with people in communities so they can unite during times of crisis. This core strategy helps expand the base of the child care movement, and grow new leaders with skills to secure long-term investment in children, families, and providers. Speakers will share lessons from the frontlines of organizing, discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the movement today, and reflect on what sustained philanthropic partnership makes possible.

Participants will gain insight into how long-term, trust-based investments in grassroots organizing help communities respond to immediate challenges while building the power necessary to achieve lasting systems change.
