Syritha Robinson

Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships, Raising Child Care Fund

As the Associate Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships for the Raising Child Care Fund, Syritha helps lead a pooled fund that supports grassroots organizers advocating for an equitable child care system and serves as a strategic thought partner to foundations and organizations that are working to transform child care. She is committed to serving communities impacted by injustice and inequity and driving systems-level change that creates better education and life outcomes for underserved communities. Syritha has over 14 years of professional experience working in early childhood education policy and strategy and K-12 at the national and state levels. Prior to joining ECFC, Syritha was the Director of Movement-Building and Field-Level Change for All Our Kin. She served as the first Advocacy Director for Educare of Washington DC, as well as the partnership lead for state-level educational equity work at The Education Trust. She began her career as a middle school teacher. Syritha earned a BA in history and MA in education from the University of Connecticut, and JD from The George Washington University Law School.
