Rachel Schumacher, Director of the Raising Child Care Fund and Shannon Rudisill, ECFC Executive Director, are among the 40+ interviews contributing to the New America new report: The Care Movement’s Winning Tactics, Lessons, and Case Studies from the Pandemic Era and Beyond. The report offers a practical playbook of eight tactics for how policymakers, activists, business leaders, care workers, philanthropists, media, cultural influencers, and care consumers can be a powerful part of a burgeoning “care movement.” It highlights what is working across sectors by elevating some of the federal, state, and local success stories that could be models for future campaign strategies or tactics (see this Key findings summary). The goal of this report is to help people working on different care issues come together and chart a collaborative path forward.  Mothering Justice (RCCF grantee partner) is also featured as a case study on Power Building tactics.
