As the Director of Communications at the Early Childhood Funders Collaborative (ECFC), Sherice leads the organization’s strategic communications to amplify its mission of advancing equity in early childhood philanthropy. With a multi-dimensional approach, she ensures that ECFC’s voice resonates across philanthropy, policy, and advocacy landscapes while promoting key initiatives like the Raising Child Care Fund and the Racial Justice and Equity Fund.
With extensive experience in nonprofit communications, Sherice has held key roles that elevate mission-driven organizations at the intersection of research, policy, and advocacy, including the Foundation for Child Development and the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies (FPWA), a leading anti-poverty nonprofit.
Her early career in journalism established a foundation of rigor, storytelling, and integrity—qualities that continue to shape her approach to public communication and relationship-building. With over 15 years of diverse experience, she holds a B.A. in Journalism from Temple University and brings a dynamic vision for impact-driven communication.
