As the Program Manager of the Racial Justice and Equity Fund at ECFC, April leads programming, grantee partnerships, and contributes to the overall strategy to continue to uplift BIPOC-led organizations, advance the Social Determinants of Child and Family Well-Being framework, and support the fund’s continued growth and impact.
April’s leadership is grounded in relationship-building and grantee-centered practice. Prior to managing this pooled fund, she supported both of ECFC’s pooled funds supporting 30 grantee partners’ engagement and peer learning efforts across the country. With more than a decade of experience in early childhood and community-based programming, April brings a deep commitment to racial justice, collaboration, and community-driven solutions.
