Webinar | Organizing for Equity from the Ground Up

Even before the pandemic, there were inequities baked into child care that perpetuated racial, gender, and economic injustice.  On March 4, 2021, ECFC and the Raising Child Care Fund were joined by skilled community organizers from Michigan, DC and Georgia who work with parents, early educators, and small child care business owners to identify these structural barriers to equity and become leaders in a growing movement to ensure access to affordable, quality child care for all.  In this candid discussion, our speakers shared their tactics, challenges, and vision for the future, and how funders can support grassroots movement building in communities.
