The Raising Child Care Fund Turns Five: Views from Community Partners

On March 8th, Raising Child Care Fund (RCCF) celebrated five years of philanthropic investment in community organizing to lift voices, build power, and expand equity in child care!
RCCF has raised $17M from private foundations and so far has funded community organizers in 17 states who are working with parents and providers to transform our failing child care system. RCCF’s grantee partners are extraordinary teachers about the power of organizing.
Grantee partners in seven states joined us to share their progress, challenges, and views from the ground: 9to5 Georgia, Alabama Institute for Social Justice, Alliance for Quality Education in New York, Family Forward Oregon, OLE New Mexico, Spaces in Action DC, and from Missouri – WePower, Gateway Early Childhood Alliance, and Urban Sprouts
