Side By Side: A Playbook on Centering and Promoting Equity in Early Education is driven by the insights of those who have been historically unrecognized and are most impacted by existing inequities–Black, Indigenous, Latinx and other people of color. Each chapter centers powerful stories from families, providers, and ECE leaders sharing the triumphs and challenges of those who have committed to giving children a strong start, and sharing perspectives of about how children, families, and communities are experiencing the ECE system.
