For over 30 years, ECFC has worked to magnify the impact of philanthropic investment in early childhood, through a community of foundations that share a commitment to fostering the health, education, and well-being of young children and their families. Our values are not subject to political shifts, they are foundational.
We remain unwavering in our mission to promote equity-centered policies that support young children and their families. We are deeply concerned about any measures that threaten the security, rights, and family well-being of immigrant communities and Black, Indigenous, and other racially and ethnically diverse children and families. We will continue to champion equitable opportunities and advocate for inclusive policies that honor our country’s diversity as an asset and protect our children’s future.
Our grantee partners—organizers, advocates, educators, and service providers—embody dignity and dedication at the heart of communities. They work tirelessly to care for children and support family well-being. ECFC stands in solidarity with these partners, striving to center the voices of parents, caregivers, and those who work with families every day in all we do. We will continue to support their efforts as they navigate this uncertain landscape.
Together, we can uphold the rights, security, and well-being of young children and their families.
