The Philly Joy Bank is a guaranteed income pilot aimed at reducing racial disparities in infant mortality and low birth weights. The program provides expectant parents in targeted neighborhoods with $1,000 per month during pregnancy and for one year postpartum, with evaluation and research led by the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health.
