About the Local & State EC Funder Collaboratives Listserv
This listserv is provided by the national Early Childhood Funders Collaborative (ECFC) as a networking and sharing forum for state and local EC focused funder collaboratives.
How it Works
This is a non-moderated listserv. By sending one email to the listserv address, you can direct your message to all subscribers from local and state early childhood funder collaboratives.
Email list Privacy
This email list is a closed forum for invited/approved staff, consultants and funders managing administrative, operations and program work of the local and state funder collaboratives with a focus on early childhood. Please use care when forwarding/sharing email list messages with colleagues and partners who are not subscribed to the list to protect the confidentiality of email list subscribers and messages. And, as with all electronic communications, please use caution as information posted on this list could ultimately be accessible to non-subscribers.
Subscribers
Staff, consultants and funders who are managing the administrative, operations and program work of a local or state funder collaborative focused on early childhood are invited to subscribe. To add subscribers (or make other changes to your subscriptions), please contact Rena Large.
Listserv Etiquette
- Don't be shy. This is your listserv! Ask questions, share your best ideas, job openings and accomplishments!
- Please refrain from personal messages such as thanks, congratulations, and "agree" type responses. Please send such responses directly to the original sender. The frequency of personal, short postings may unintentionally discourage broader participation by other members of the list.
- Include your email signature. Our listserv provider has made some recent security updates, and the sender's name does not always show up on an email. Include your name, organization, and email address in your message so that others can quickly identify who sent the message.
- Keep messages within the network. Contents and opinions expressed on this listserv are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the positions of ECFC. Sharing or forwarding any messages or threads posted to any ECFC email list without consent is strictly prohibited.
- Inspire future action! Listserv discussions often inspire programming and collaboration ideas!
Sending Messages
Approved email list subscribers can send an email message to all current subscribers:
- Type [email protected] into the “To” line of your email.
- Compose and send your email as usual – it will be sent to all email list subscribers.
Replying to Messages
All replies to listserv messages will default to the original message sender to help reduce email traffic. You can send replies to the sender AND the listserv by editing the "To" line of your reply to include the listserv address. Please always consider whether your response is intended for an individual person or for all subscribers to the email list.
How do I know that a message has been sent through the email list?
You will receive a copy of your message as a subscriber of the list.
Add this email list address to safe senders list
As some organizational email systems/firewalls may block bulk messages, we suggest you add [email protected] to your Email Contacts/Address Book for easy access. You may also want to include this address on your list of “safe senders” if you anticipate that listserv messages will redirect to junk mail.
Questions?
The email list is maintained by national ECFC staff. If you have questions, would like to add or delete subscribers, or need assistance, please contact Rena Large.
