Einhorn Collaborative and Perigee Fund hosted a briefing on how unconditional cash support for families improves early relational health. New findings were shared from a not-yet-published paper about the effects of unconditional cash support on parent-child interactions in the Baby’s First Years study. Dr. Kimberly Noble and Dr. Lisa Gennetian shared preliminary outcomes and reflected on what this may mean for our work. In the second half of this session, a funder-only discussion with Becca Graves from Perigee Fund and Megha Agarwal of The Monarch Foundation expolored why and how our peers have taken up a focus on no-strings-attached cash support.
